About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide legally compliant, specially designed instruction to K-12 students with active IEPs
- Deliver compensatory education services when indicated
- Develop and execute data-driven, individualized lesson plans
- Target reading and literacy, foundational math, executive functioning, organizational strategies, and functional/adaptive life skills
- Create, manage, and monitor student IEPs, including case management
- Collaborate with IEP teams to coordinate service schedules and tailor instruction
- Administer screenings and conduct progress monitoring
- Complete formal outcomes assessments to guide instructional decisions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active Arizona educator license/certification with Moderate/Severe Disabilities, PreK-12 Endorsement
- School-based experience providing specially designed instruction
- Experience working effectively with diverse student populations
- Exceptional collaborative communication skills for engaging with IEP teams, teachers, parents, and students
- Proficiency in conducting virtual services using meeting platforms
- Strong command of instructional technology
- Dedicated, private workspace with secure, high-speed internet
- Reliable computer and webcam
- Availability Monday-Friday during traditional school hours, 8:00am-4:00pm
- Minimum availability of 15 hours per week
