About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the architecture and technical roadmap across the platform, balancing performance, reliability and cost as usage grows
- Lead hands-on on the hardest technical problems, working alongside senior engineers from design through production
- Design and run the AI-native development system, including agent workflows, guardrails and quality gates from ticket to production
- Turn product and partner priorities into clear technical plans and own delivery of the platform behind live products and host integrations
- Grow a senior team with high standards for craft and AI-native work, and lead hiring and development for reports
- Represent Parallelz technically with partners and across the wider group, including architecture reviews and technical due diligence
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years building complex software, including time as a Staff, Principal or lead engineer with architectural ownership of a production system, and experience leading senior teams
- Deep daily fluency with AI coding agents and agentic systems, a track record of bringing those workflows to a whole team, and a clear view on how to verify their output
- A record of shipping live products in early-stage, venture-backed environments
- Depth in performance-critical, deeply technical systems
- Clear written and verbal communication, and comfort working directly with the Founder in a hybrid team
- Background in deep-tech, infrastructure or developer platform companies, gaming, ad tech or consumer platform companies, or early-stage, zero-to-one experience as a founder or early technical leader
