About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Act as the primary Reporting SME for Oracle Cloud Financials and Oracle Cloud HCM
  • Partner with cross-functional business leaders to translate strategic objectives into analytical solutions
  • Define and enforce enterprise reporting best practices, naming conventions, and governance standards
  • Lead the transition from legacy reporting systems to Oracle Fusion Analytics frameworks
  • Design, build, and deploy FDI dashboards, KPIs, and data visualizations
  • Extend FDI pre-built content using external data sources or custom Fusion objects
  • Architect and develop Oracle BI Publisher operational reports, documents, and bursting configurations
  • Construct compliance-ready financial statements using Financial Reporting Studio
  • Develop SmartView templates and train finance users on multidimensional ad-hoc analysis
  • Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and manipulate Oracle Cloud data
  • Manage the full reporting lifecycle from requirements gathering through post-production support
  • Troubleshoot data, security, and performance issues in reporting environments
  • Assess Oracle quarterly analytics releases and guide the business on feature adoption

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle BI/Analytics
  • At least 3+ years leading reporting solutions in an Oracle Fusion Cloud environment
  • Deep, verifiable proficiency in Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) / Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC)
  • Proficiency in Oracle BI Publisher, including data models, RTF/eText templates, and bursting
  • Proficiency in Financial Reporting Studio (FRS)
  • Proficiency in OTBI reports in Fusion
  • Proficiency in Oracle SmartView for Office
  • Strong understanding of data models, tables, and subject areas for Oracle Cloud Financials and Oracle Cloud HCM
  • Advanced SQL skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field (preferred)
  • Relevant Oracle certifications (preferred)
  • Experience configuring data security and role-based access controls (preferred)
