About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Formulate category strategies with the Director of Toys to meet long-term brand plans and financial goals
- Identify, develop, and implement new business initiatives in assigned categories
- Analyze, pitch, and negotiate new business deals across product categories and retailers
- Drive quarterly forecasts and business reviews with licensees and monitor sales results against budget goals
- Support licensees with information and materials for new product development and retail expansion
- Collaborate with Consumer Product business leaders on category strategies across Paramount franchises
- Work with Retail Development teams to track performance, address issues, and launch strategies
- Coordinate daily with the Global Creative Group on product development goals, approvals, and rush requests
- Provide direction and manage workload, tasks, and career progression for a coordinator
- Manage licensee relationships, contract management, and negotiations
- Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to adapt toy strategies
- Maintain weekly performance updates with internal and external collaborators
- Ensure licensees deliver product lines aligned with category and brand values
- Liaise with retail teams regarding partner requirements
- Prepare product presentations for retail development and internal meetings
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree required
- 7+ years working in a licensing, marketing, or consumer products sales role
- Deep knowledge of the e-commerce landscape preferred
- Goal setter to meet department objectives and develops operational plans and processes
- Line Management Experience
- Leads or contributes to complex projects and develops solutions
- Flexible and able to adapt to diverse projects and competing priorities
- Highly collaborative and effective at working with cross-functional teams
- Robust knowledge of Paramount’s brand position and retail environment
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Solid time management skills and organization
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Domestic & International Travel may be required
