About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the day-to-day operational management and implementation of the global Paramount Privacy Program
  • Build and support scalable tools, utilities, and infrastructure that protect consumer data across connected TVs, mobile apps, and web ecosystems
  • Partner with legal, product, and technology teams to embed privacy-by-design principles into products and backend infrastructure
  • Translate global privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA into engineering requirements, technical specifications, and system architectures
  • Own privacy codebases and build, enhance, and maintain scalable privacy infrastructure
  • Develop privacy technologies and extend tools, utilities, automation, and diagnostic scripts
  • Conduct privacy compliance audits across Web, Mobile, and Connected TV platforms
  • Automate Consent Management Platform compliance testing and execute cross-functional integration testing
  • Create, maintain, document, and execute manual and automated test plans and test cases
  • Research and recommend developer tools, frameworks, and methodologies
  • Document technical processes and maintain architectural documentation for internal teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience with proficient engineering fundamentals, including Git, testing, code review, and CI/CD
  • 5+ years of hands-on development experience with JavaScript or TypeScript
  • 5+ years of experience building software tools, utilities, automation, and diagnostics using Python, Ruby, or Ruby on Rails
  • 3+ years of experience developing and deploying cloud infrastructure on AWS or GCP
  • Proven ability to execute automated and manual testing, extend test frameworks, and maintain CI/CD quality gates
  • 3+ years of experience developing, testing, or debugging mobile and OTT/CTV applications across Apple, Amazon, Android, and Roku platforms
  • Hands-on experience with SDK development, JavaScript bundlers, and build utilities such as Webpack
  • Experience conducting privacy compliance audits and diagnosing configuration issues with IAB frameworks
  • Experience implementing or managing Consent Management Platforms (CMPs)
  • Active IAPP Certification; CIPT preferred
  • Affinity for data protection, consumer trust, and privacy-by-design principles in media and entertainment
