Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Membership in the Writers Guild of America
  • 5+ years of TV news writing experience in a network or major-market newsroom
  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Write in accordance with AP Style
  • Well-developed news judgment and passion for current events
  • Ability to work under deadline pressure and adapt quickly
  • Experience with newsroom computer systems (ENPS, iNews, Slack)
  • Exemplary collaboration and communication skills
  • Flexible schedule, including regular weekday and weekend hours, and as news demands
  • Ability to work on-site at our NY Broadcast Center
