About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage the bank’s full accounting cycle, from reconciliations and journal entries through closing, financial statements, and regulatory filings.
Perform accounting and financial analyses and reconciliations for portfolios and suspense accounts, as well as prepare journal entries.
Participate in the accounting close and the preparation of balance sheets, trial balances, various reports, and financial statements.
Be responsible for statutory filings with regulatory authorities, including CADOC documents 3040, 3044, 3050, 4010, 4016, 4060, 4066, 4111, and 4500.
Respond to external and internal audit requests and internal control requirements.
Provide accounting support to business areas.
Map processes and propose improvements, using Excel and AI tools to automate activities and enhance reporting.
Support new product projects through accounting guidance, preparation of accounting procedures, and system configuration.
Serve as a technical reference for business areas and support the launch of new products.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, with an active CRC registration.
Previous experience as an Accounting Analyst.
Strong experience in accounting reconciliations and results analysis.
Hands-on experience calculating, monitoring, and recording provisions for expected credit losses.
Knowledge of CMN Resolution No. 4,966/2021 and BCB Resolution No. 352/2023.
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and advanced formulas; Power Query is a plus).
Familiarity with AI tools applied to analysis, reporting enhancement, and activity automation.
Postgraduate degree in Accounting or Finance (a plus).
Knowledge of banking accounting, including COSIF and Central Bank of Brazil regulations (a plus).
