Design, code, test, and debug software solutions according to project specifications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
Maintain comprehensive documentation for code and software features
Design, create, and evolve scalable, maintainable, secure, aesthetic, and usable front-end web applications
Develop and maintain backend business logic, data services, databases, and APIs
Write and optimize SQL queries
Use testing frameworks and debugging tools
Apply test-driven development principles
Participate in continuous integration and deployment practices
Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements and achieve project goals
Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, adapting to new tools, languages, and methodologies
Implement coding standards and industry-standard development principles and frameworks

What you’ll need

Communication skills (both written and verbal) demonstrated at all levels of the organisation
Software development skills: .NET Framework, .NET Core, C#, VB.Net, React, MVC, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, Xamarin, Java / XCode
Cloud computing, particularly Microsoft Azure, with experience of deploying and managing applications in the cloud
RESTful API development
Testing framework knowledge: XUnit and Moq
Test-driven development experience
Experience of source code control and release management, including CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps
Knowledge of API testing with Postman
Database management, extensive query skills, and ORM experience with Entity Framework
Agile development methodologies: Kanban, Scrum, XP, and Lean
Knowledge of database systems such as SQL Server and Oracle
Proficiency with Git version control systems
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
Basic understanding of DevOps practices, continuous integration, and deployment
