About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support Construction Managers and Project Managers in planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction activities from preconstruction through project closeout
  • Perform regular site observations and monitor construction progress, quality, and conformance with project requirements
  • Document site observations and communicate concerns to project team members
  • Review drawings, specifications, schedules, contracts, and other project documents
  • Coordinate and track RFIs, submittals, change requests, payment applications, and construction administration activities
  • Monitor project schedules, milestones, sequencing, and look-ahead activities; assist with delay mitigation and recovery strategies
  • Track budgets, commitments, changes, and potential cost impacts; assist with contractor proposals, change requests, and payment applications
  • Participate in site, OAC, coordination, and project review meetings; prepare documentation and track action items
  • Coordinate communication among contractors, design teams, consultants, clients, authorities having jurisdiction, and other stakeholders
  • Identify and track project risks, issues, and emerging conditions affecting cost, schedule, quality, safety, or objectives
  • Maintain project records including field reports, photographs, meeting minutes, logs, correspondence, and progress documentation
  • Support quality management, deficiency tracking, punch lists, and corrective work
  • Support testing, commissioning, substantial completion, final completion, record documentation, warranties, training, turnover, and closeout activities
  • Assist with project status reports, dashboards, presentations, and internal or client-facing reporting
  • Develop working knowledge of Parkhill’s construction management, program management, project controls, and QA/QC processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in a construction-related role
  • Working knowledge of construction methods, materials, codes, and regulations
  • Working towards a CCM is required
  • Familiarity with reading construction drawings and schedules
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required
  • Experience with project management platforms such as Procore, Bluebeam, or Primavera is preferred
  • OSHA 10/30 certification is preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
  • Valid US driver’s license to visit project sites, clients, and other Parkhill offices
