About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support Project Managers in planning, coordinating, and delivering projects from initiation through closeout
  • Assist with project scope, schedules, budgets, work plans, fee structures, forecasts, and project management documentation
  • Coordinate activities among clients, design teams, consultants, contractors, construction managers, and other stakeholders
  • Monitor schedules, milestones, deliverables, action items, budgets, and expenditures; identify risks, delays, conflicts, or variances and assist with mitigation
  • Support procurement, contracting, and change management activities, including proposal evaluation, contract administration, approval tracking, and project-impact assessment
  • Assist with design and construction phase coordination by tracking deliverables, facilitating reviews, documenting decisions and comments, and monitoring issue resolution
  • Participate in client, design, construction, and stakeholder meetings; prepare documentation, follow up, and track commitments
  • Prepare and maintain project reports, dashboards, presentations, correspondence, logs, and internal and client-facing communications
  • Track risks, issues, decisions, changes, and project information in project management and financial systems while ensuring compliance with QA/QC and administrative procedures
  • Assist with project closeout, including documentation, financial reconciliation, lessons learned, outstanding items, and transition or turnover requirements
  • Develop and apply knowledge of project management, program management, project controls, and Owner’s Representative services

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in the AEC industry, project coordination, or project support roles
  • Working knowledge of project management principles, including scope management, scheduling, budgeting, contract coordination, and project financial tracking
  • Experience with billing processes, resource planning, and budget monitoring
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment
  • Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint preferred
  • Project management certification (CAPM, PMP, or equivalent) preferred
