About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist in preparing site development design plans, including grading, drainage, paving, and utility layouts
  • Perform basic engineering calculations related to stormwater, earthwork, and utility systems
  • Support development of construction documents using CAD software such as Civil 3D
  • Compile and review technical data, reports, and permitting documentation
  • Coordinate with internal teams and disciplines to support project delivery
  • Participate in field visits and site observations for design validation and construction efforts
  • Assist with quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and project documentation
  • Learn and apply applicable codes, standards, and local regulatory requirements
  • Support engineers in responding to client and contractor inquiries
  • Perform other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited program
  • EIT obtainable within 6 months of hire
  • Experience in Revit/BIM is preferred
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD or Civil 3D preferred
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
