About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform routine engineering tasks under close supervision
  • Support engineers, the CADD supervisor, or project team in HVAC and plumbing system design and sizing
  • Assist with basic design calculations and system layout
  • Assist with construction phase services as directed by the project engineer
  • Assist with checking engineering calculations

  • Perform other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Student status in Mechanical Engineering or an appropriate related discipline at an accredited college or university
  • Knowledge of fundamental engineering, mathematical, and construction concepts
  • Proficiency in computers, computer-aided design, and relevant software and hardware tools
  • Ability to perform basic design calculations and HVAC/plumbing system layout and sizing
  • Part-time, non-exempt position
