About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the planning, design, permitting, and construction support of water and wastewater treatment projects
- Oversee engineering efforts from design through construction on civil engineering treatment projects
- Conduct site visits and assessments
- Participate in client meetings to understand project needs and preferences
- Develop design concepts and proposals
- Create detailed drawings and specifications
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other consultants
- Present designs to clients and stakeholders for feedback and approval
- Explore new design concepts and incorporate emerging technologies
- Provide technical leadership and ensure engineering quality
- Support client relationships and coordinate multidisciplinary teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Texas required
- Ability to obtain licensure in New Mexico and Oklahoma
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in civil design
- Water and Wastewater Treatment design experience preferred
- Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and ArcGIS preferred
- Understanding of engineering project management methods
- Ability to plan a project from start to finish, considering time, cost and resources
