About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own user-facing applications end to end
Take concepts from conversation to production, including UX design, frontend implementation, API integration, and deployment
Identify user friction, propose improvements, build solutions, measure outcomes, and iterate quickly
Work directly with internal teams and external stakeholders to turn feedback into technical plans
Implement analytics, track feature adoption, and iterate based on data
Use and orchestrate coding agents in daily development
Write specifications and plans, select implementation patterns, and review AI-generated code
Review frontend pull requests and balance delivery with manageable review workload
Maintain and extend the shared component library and UI guidelines
Help establish the product's visual language with an external design agency
Define and implement QA and testing strategy
Use automated end-to-end and component tests to ensure reliability, performance, and security
Participate in the defined delivery process, daily stand-ups, and biweekly Friday demos
Submit written proposals to influence centrally owned architecture, API contracts, and design-system direction

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of commercial software engineering experience
Evidence of owning product work from problem to production and measuring outcomes
Strong frontend expertise
Deep proficiency in TypeScript
Experience with a modern component framework; Vue 3 / Nuxt preferred
Track record of designing clean, functional interfaces
Ability to deliver features without dedicated product managers or designers
Hands-on experience setting up and using analytics tools such as PostHog, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar
Daily experience using AI coding agents, such as Claude Code or Copilot
Clear methods for guiding AI coding agents and checking their output
Experience with automated end-to-end and UI testing using tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or Vitest
Ability to define a testing strategy
Discipline to review personal and peer code before merging
Fluent written and spoken English
Ability to present ideas to non-technical stakeholders
Ability to work through written proposals
Experience in fintech, Web3/digital assets, or data-driven products is a strong plus
Experience building or maintaining a component library is a strong plus
Experience building APIs and BFF layers, ideally with PHP/Laravel, is a strong plus
Practical experience with AWS environments, deployments, and observability is a strong plus
Experience creating agent skills or CI guardrails for AI-assisted development is a strong plus
Attendance at daily stand-ups and biweekly Friday demos is expected
Ability to work around Central European Time and support the Munich hub/on-site rhythm
