About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own Partiful's financial model, including building and maintaining it for leadership decision-making
  • Model scenarios for hiring, fundraising, expansion, and monetization decisions
  • Own pricing strategies and build unit economics for monetization efforts
  • Manage the financial side of ticketing deals, including partner diligence, fee-discount modeling, sponsorship ROI, and risk guardrails
  • Coordinate with external accounting and tax firms to maintain timely, accurate books and close processes
  • Own controls, policies, and finance process design
  • Drive cost reduction across the business
  • Build and own budget infrastructure, department-level targets, cost centers, card limits, visibility, and reporting tools
  • Execute day-to-day financial operations, including AP/AR, internal and external reporting, cash management, and cap table administration
  • Collaborate with teams across the business to support growth and decision-making

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4–6 years of experience in finance
  • Foundation in PE or IB
  • At least 2 years at a startup
  • Excellent financial modeling and analytical skills
  • Experience calculating and owning financial metrics
  • Experience underwriting deals and creating unique, effective deal structures
  • Extremely high bar for accuracy and correctness
  • High attention to detail
  • AI-native, with a bias toward creating agents and using AI to streamline workflows
  • Bachelor's degree
  • MBA is a bonus
