About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare detailed qualitative and quantitative analysis for prospective private credit investments
- Perform LBO modelling and analyze due diligence materials
- Write internal investment committee memorandums
- Contribute to investment committee discussions
- Manage private credit investments, including monitoring company performance
- Assist senior investment team members in building relationships with sponsors and other external parties
- Conduct valuation assessments, product reporting, and market research
- Support Partners Group’s fundraising efforts
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ years of relevant work experience in an investment role (private credit / private equity), debt advisory, or investment banking (leveraged finance, M&A)
- Passion for investing in mid-market companies
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to develop close relationships over time
- Outstanding analytical skills and attention to detail with demonstrable financial modelling skills
- Strong academic record with Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a top University
- Candidates must have the right to work in the US
