About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support Partners Group's Country Head Compliance Germany, located in Munich
- Maintain and improve the compliance monitoring program in Germany
- Maintain compliance-related systems and controls and conduct compliance checks and investigations
- Draft and review periodic compliance reports, policies, and directives
- Contribute to regulatory projects, including AIFMD, SFDR, and EU AML Directive reviews
- Assist with reviewing marketing materials and marketing activities
- Liaise with external and internal auditors and prepare documentation for regulatory audits
- Monitor regulatory developments in Germany and Europe
- Conduct AML tasks for Partners Group (EU) GmbH
- Manage Compliance-related projects end-to-end with manager support
- Assist with risk management, service provider oversight, and Compliance training development
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in legal, paralegal or compliance studies, business administration, finance, or similar
- Preferably at least one year of work experience in compliance, audit, or legal
- Background in the financial services industry is a plus
- Ability to work independently and implement processes and procedures successfully
- Understanding of the benefit of new technologies for Compliance and eagerness to work with IT and business applications specialists to automate compliance-related processes and workflows
- Critical thinking and excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English
- Knowledge of French, Italian and/or Swedish is a strong plus
- Strong analytical, methodical, and problem-solving skills
- Good computer skills and proficiency in the MS Office suite
- Flexible, self-motivated, detail-oriented approach
