About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Source investment opportunities in thematic areas for Partners Group Infrastructure
- Discuss investment opportunities with senior managers
- Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis on prospective direct equity investments in infrastructure companies in Asia-Pacific
- Own and run complex financial models across infrastructure sub-sectors
- Conduct strategic and financial analysis of sectors and companies
- Develop investment themes and target companies across Asia-Pacific
- Prepare Investment Committee papers and participate in Investment Committee meetings
- Lead transaction due diligence workstreams, including financial, commercial, legal, and tax diligence
- Participate in meetings with current and prospective target companies and undertake on-site visits
- Support debt arrangements and negotiation of purchase/sale, shareholders’, employment, and incentive compensation agreements
- Work with Asia-Pacific portfolio companies and management teams to implement value creation plans
- Perform product reporting, investment monitoring, market research, and marketing tasks
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6-9 years of relevant work experience in top-tier private equity, infrastructure, investment banking or management consulting firm
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, interpersonal, and oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work in global, multi-cultural teams and cross-border investment environments across multiple geographies
- Self-starter with strong work ethic and desire to learn and succeed
- Fluency in oral and written English essential
- Additional Asian language capabilities can be a positive
- Superior academic credentials demonstrating a consistent track record of achievement
