About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Take and make outbound and inbound phone calls with customers
  • Listen to customers’ situations and determine what they can realistically afford
  • Explain options and establish workable payment plans
  • Accurately document conversations
  • Follow consumer-protection rules governing the work
  • Attend four weeks of paid, full-time, in-office training
  • Work onsite during the first seven weeks, Monday–Friday, 8AM–5PM
  • After ramp-up, work 50% remotely and 50% in-office, plus one remote evening shift weekly
  • Work in the office during the last four business days of each month for closeout

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Clear, confident conversation with strangers
  • Comfortable with basic math, mostly percentages
  • Reliable high-speed internet at home for remote days
  • Must live in the greater Houston area
  • Able to commute to the West Houston office
  • Fluent Spanish is a plus
  • Work on camera for the entire shift
