Key responsibilities & impact

Run technical discovery with customers and produce technical scopes, risk assessments, and estimates covering build effort and operating costs
Partner with Sales on scoping and own solution design
Build end-to-end integrations with Claude Code, including agents, MCP servers, ERP and third-party connectors, file and batch ingestion, webhooks, and data mapping
Certify work against customer source-of-truth systems using automated regression and customer-acceptable evidence
Build reusable verification tooling, including parity harnesses, reconciliation, agent-driven test generation, and reporting
Define testing approaches for agentic components, including prompt injection paths, tool and MCP permission scoping, and human-in-the-loop requirements
Design guardrails for agentic components, including scoped credentials, approval gates, output validation, audit logging, and rollback
Serve as primary technical interface for engagements and navigate customer security review and change control
Complete handoffs with documentation, runbooks, and monitoring
Productize recurring engagement patterns into APIs, reference implementations, connectors, and an official PartsBase MCP server
Own developer experience for the integration surface, including agent- and human-oriented documentation, examples, and self-service capabilities
Contribute across the full stack to the core platform between engagements
Build and maintain internal agentic tooling, including CLAUDE.md, subagents, skills, hooks, MCP servers, and n8n automations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
10+ years building and shipping production software across backend, frontend, and integration work
At least 5 of those years operating systems you built yourself and being on call for them
Direct experience in billable consulting, professional services, or solutions engineering, including scoping, estimating build effort and running cost, and owning customer relationships
Demonstrated production use of Claude Code, including CLAUDE.md, subagents, skills, hooks, MCP servers, and the Claude API
Command of context engineering, tool use, model selection, and failure modes of non-deterministic systems
Proven ability to identify incorrect AI output and build automated checks to prevent customer impact
Deep experience verifying data integrations, including reconciliation strategy, parity at scale, sampling versus full comparison, and legitimate record differences
Agent-driven testing and evaluation of non-deterministic behavior, eval design and scoring, and regression detection across prompt and model changes
Test automation at scale using Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent, including flake elimination
Experience owning a customer-impacting defect and making a systemic improvement
Experience evolving partner-facing APIs, including versioning and deprecation
C# and .NET, including .NET Framework 4.6-era code; Python; TypeScript; React with Next.js or React Native
AWS production deployment, operations, and debugging
REST integration at scale and data integration across spreadsheet, flat file, batch, webhook, event-driven, and direct API systems
SQL Server, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and Elasticsearch
CI/CD with test automation in the pipeline; production observability such as New Relic; automation platforms such as n8n
Ability to run customer discovery sessions and communicate credibly with customers
Experience handling professional disagreement and organizational pushback
Fluent in English
Nice to have: aviation, aerospace, or defense exposure, including ITAR/EAR awareness, and ERP integration
