About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assist with planning and design of airport infrastructure projects, including runways, taxiways, aprons, hangars, and landside facilities
Support preparation of engineering reports, calculations, specifications, and construction documents
Perform field investigations, site inspections, and data collection at airport facilities
Assist with FAA grant-funded projects and airport improvement programs
Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and other engineering software to develop plans and exhibits
Coordinate with project teams and support project deliverables throughout design and construction phases
Work alongside Passero Associates' aviation team on commercial, general aviation, and military airport projects

Requirements

What you’ll need

Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
Interest in aviation engineering, airport design, and transportation infrastructure
Immediate availability and/or availability through 2027
Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D preferred
Previous civil engineering co-op, internship, or aviation-related experience is a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Strong communication and organizational skills
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to visit active airport and construction project sites as needed
