About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Solve problems with code
  • Build new features for internal and external users and refactor existing features
  • Work across systems, processes, and technologies, including low-level systems and front-end user interfaces
  • Drive application platform architecture in line with team needs and future product roadmap
  • Collaborate with product, design, machine learning, and infrastructure teams
  • Uphold engineering standards and ensure code is reviewed, tested, and integrated
  • Mentor, learn, and share knowledge with team members
  • Take responsibility for code quality produced by the individual and team
  • Contribute to a SaaS platform used in clinical trial workflows, ensuring reliability, data integrity, and compliance
  • Collaborate with clinical, QA, and regulatory teams to meet validation expectations and support inspection readiness

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor of Science or an advanced degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Some experience working across the full software development lifecycle using Python
  • Experience designing and building Python-based FastAPI or Django applications
  • Foundation in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design
  • Ability to collaborate with a distributed team and work autonomously on projects
  • Preferred: Cloud Platform experience (AWS) and knowledge of an IaC framework
  • Preferred: Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI
  • Preferred: Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
  • Preferred: Problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
