About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with recruiters, hiring managers, and technical leadership to define and run sourcing strategy for Engineering, Product, and Design roles
  • Run intake conversations to understand technical needs, define target profiles, and set sourcing goals and timelines
  • Identify and engage passive talent through LinkedIn, GitHub, open-source communities, technical forums, portfolios, conferences, and other channels
  • Write personalized outreach and test and refine messaging
  • Serve as the primary early-stage candidate contact and provide a responsive, high-touch experience
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines and pools
  • Expand sourcing reach and develop diverse slates of qualified candidates
  • Track and report pipeline health and funnel metrics, using data to improve sourcing
  • Improve sourcing and early-stage processes by identifying bottlenecks, testing approaches, and sharing best practices
  • Maintain accurate candidate data and activity in the applicant tracking system
  • Work 20 hours per week in this part-time contract role

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of experience sourcing for technical roles, with Engineering required; Product and/or Design a plus
  • Strong understanding of the technical landscape, including roles, stacks, and levels
  • Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, social media, technical communities, and forums
  • Experience with an applicant tracking system; Ashby experience strongly preferred
  • Track record of creative, data-informed sourcing strategies that build a consistent, diverse pipeline
  • Excellent written communication and ability to write outreach that gets responses from passive talent
  • Ability to partner with recruiters and senior technical stakeholders and influence hiring strategy
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills; ability to manage multiple searches
  • Ability to embrace change, learn quickly, and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Passion for the creator economy
  • Ability to meet 3 days in-office per week if based in New York or San Francisco
  • Work authorization sponsorship question for the United States is part of the application
