About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Drive the development and management of group-wide programs for Business Continuity Management (BCM), Crisis Management, and Security Risk Management
Develop and harmonize standards, policies, and governance structures in line with regulatory requirements
Conduct Business Impact Analyses, risk and threat assessments, and derive appropriate resilience and risk mitigation measures
Develop and maintain Business Continuity, emergency response, and crisis management processes to ensure business continuity
Plan and conduct crisis management team, emergency response, and BCM exercises
Actively participate in crisis management teams and support the response to real-world crises and incidents
Establish situational awareness reports, early warning mechanisms, and reporting structures for management and relevant stakeholders
Advise national and international entities and relevant business functions on corporate resilience matters
Design and deliver training, awareness, and sensitization initiatives
Support audits

Requirements

What you’ll need

Successfully completed degree specializing in security, risk, crisis, or business management, or an equivalent qualification combined with relevant professional experience
Several years of professional experience in Business Continuity Management (BCM), Crisis Management, Security Risk Management, Corporate Security, or a comparable governance or resilience function
In-depth knowledge of relevant standards, frameworks, and regulatory requirements relating to BCM, risk management, and corporate resilience
Experience implementing and developing BCM, crisis management, or risk management processes, including Business Impact Analyses (BIA) and risk assessments
Strong analytical and conceptual skills, along with a structured, pragmatic, and project-oriented approach to work
High degree of initiative, strong execution skills, and a strong sense of responsibility, with the ability to confidently advise and persuade diverse stakeholders
Resilient, decisive, and able to act confidently in crisis and exceptional situations
Very good written and spoken German and English
Willingness to undertake occasional domestic and international business travel
Desirable: relevant further training or certifications in Business Continuity Management, Crisis Management, Risk Management, or Corporate Security
