About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Screen, evaluate, and prioritize M&A and partnership opportunities, and conduct market and target analyses
Prepare business cases, company valuations, and financial models to support strategic decision-making
Prepare materials for management and the Executive Board, and create compelling presentations
Support and manage M&A processes, including due diligence, advisor coordination, and integration and divestment projects
Independently conduct analyses of market, competitive, and company developments
Contribute to strategic projects and initiatives in the area of Corporate Development
Manage projects and coordinate cross-functional project teams throughout the entire project lifecycle
Support the Director of Corporate Development, the Executive Board, and management with strategic issues and business development

Requirements

What you’ll need

Successfully completed university degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a comparable field
Several years of relevant professional experience (3–6 years) in Corporate Development, M&A, Transaction Services, or management consulting
Solid knowledge of company valuation, financial modeling, and business case development
Strong analytical and conceptual skills, along with a good understanding of strategic and financial interrelationships
Experience managing complex projects and collaborating with diverse stakeholders
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
High level of initiative, entrepreneurial thinking, and a structured, results-oriented approach to work
Very good written and spoken German and English
Strong communication skills and a confident presence when interacting with management and internal stakeholders
