About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Carry out Paylocity’s mission of driving client satisfaction by understanding client needs and ensuring successful outcomes
Handle needs assessments and cost/benefits analysis
Establish internal and external relationships
Solicit product and enhancement requirements from end users and convert requests into workable solutions
Create, analyze, and validate detailed functional/technical specifications
Drive increased use of core system functionality to reduce customization needs
Improve systems by studying current practices and designing modifications
Establish intra- and interdepartmental relationships to prioritize needs and communicate project status and timing expectations
Create internal documentation and training for setup and ongoing support
Document requirements, create use cases, and develop process models
Maintain knowledge and understanding of system functions and release features

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree required
At least two years’ experience in Payroll and HR Industry (or equivalent experience for Partner Integration)
Experience in a front-line customer facing role
Experience writing business specifications preferred
Ability to sit for extended periods, typically 7–8 hours a day
Ability to operate a computer, use phone systems, type, and use multiple software programs simultaneously
Must be available five days per week during designated work hours
Must work from home or location of record within the U.S.
