About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administer new-hire onboarding and orientation
- Manage background verification processes for new hires
- Provide accurate payroll inputs for timely and correct compensation processing
- Manage end-to-end employee benefits enrollment, changes, and communications
- Maintain accurate and compliant employee documentation and records
- Serve as primary point of contact for internal and external HR audits
- Maintain HR system compliance and align configurations with controls, policies, and regulations
- Handle employee inquiries using advanced HR systems and process knowledge
- Organize and support in-person meetings and company events
- Oversee employee movements, including transfers and promotions, in HR systems
- Support departing employees with post-employment benefits and transition documentation
- Complete separation paperwork, including experience letters and final settlement agreements
- Identify and resolve HR data issues
- Deploy HR policies, systems, programs, and practices across assigned business units
- Investigate employee complaints and support conflict resolution
- Recommend and implement process improvements
- Manage multiple HR initiatives and specialized HR functions
- Apply company policies and procedures to resolve employee issues
- Manage day-to-day work autonomously with minimal guidance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration, Human Resources, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related field required; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
- Minimum 4 years of HR experience
- Familiarity with a wide variety of HR concepts, practices and procedures
- Good knowledge of local employment law
- Ability to handle confidential information with great sensitivity
- Strong interpersonal communication, writing, and organizational skills
- Strong computer skills, including MS Word, MS Excel, and HRIS systems
- Ability to sit for extended periods, typically 7–8 hours a day
- Ability to operate computer and phone systems, type, and use multiple software programs simultaneously
- Must be able to commute to the Bengaluru office as required
