About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own product strategy, roadmap, and investment priorities for the Core Product domain
  • Lead and scale a product management organization
  • Drive customer impact and business outcomes for Core Product initiatives
  • Partner strategically with Engineering, Architecture, Sales, Marketing, and Operations
  • Serve as the primary executive voice of the customer for the Core Product
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing product management organization
  • Establish roles, responsibilities, and career paths for product leaders and managers
  • Set expectations for product discovery, customer validation, and outcome-based delivery
  • Implement and evolve product operating rhythms for planning, delivery, and measurement
  • Maintain continuous customer engagement to validate strategy and execution
  • Partner with Product Managers, Sales, and Customer Success to test assumptions, pricing, packaging, and willingness-to-pay
  • Use qualitative and quantitative insights to refine strategy and roadmap
  • Ensure go-to-market readiness and adoption
  • Own product-side launch planning, enablement, and success measurement
  • Ensure customer realization of product value and business results
  • Recruit, hire, and develop product leaders and individual contributors
  • Set performance expectations tied to outcomes
  • Coach leaders to scale impact across teams and initiatives
  • Report to the Chief Product Officer and partner with the executive team on company strategy and product investments

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent work experience
  • 7–10+ years in product leadership roles within SaaS or platform-based businesses
  • Demonstrated experience owning product strategy and outcomes, not just delivery
  • Proven ability to lead through complex, cross-functional environments
  • Domain expertise in automotive, warranty, or aftermarket services strongly preferred
  • Experience with Scaled Agile Framework or Pragmatic Marketing preferred
  • Knowledge of Atlassian products Jira and Confluence
  • Must be able to travel to the Chicago, IL office and clients, up to 25%
  • If located in the Chicagoland area, required to work in the Park Ridge, IL office 2 days per week
  • For remote employment, must reside in one of: Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, North Carolina, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, or Wisconsin
