About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform daily bank and trust reconciliations
- Prepare deposits and bank transfers between trust and corporate accounts
- Follow up on and resolve outstanding items
- Participate in internal and external audits
- Process advisor commissions, payments, and adjustments
- Import and reconcile commission files
- Respond to advisors’ inquiries regarding commissions
- Assist with the preparation of T4A tax slips
- Collaborate with various teams and internal partners
- Participate in continuous improvement and automation projects
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and cross-training within the team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Good understanding of trust accounts and the financial services and banking industries
- DEP/DEC in Accounting or Finance, completed or in progress (an asset)
- Ability to work in both French and English
- French required for positions permanently based in Quebec
- English required to communicate with clients and partners primarily located outside Quebec
- Knowledge of AI and openness to exploring and implementing new technologies
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and teamwork skills
