About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own high-priority product initiatives across Music Brands from definition through launch
- Partner with the Boulder product and engineering team
- Modernize asset production, content ingestion pipelines, metadata structures, and licensing workflows
- Use customer research, product data, and first-principles reasoning to determine what to build
- Collaborate closely with engineers and designers through clear specifications and fast decisions
- Define success metrics before launch, measure outcomes, and act on findings
- Accelerate financial analysis through AI-enabled automation and productization
- Evaluate and drive high-ROI AI opportunities through shipped, measured outcomes
- Assess products, users, teams, and economics in newly acquired businesses
- Work with the Head of Product to set product direction
- Help build shared portfolio infrastructure, including content infrastructure, data pipelines, and AI capabilities
- Travel monthly to Boulder, Colorado and work with Boulder-based product and engineering teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3–5 years of product management experience at a leading software company
- Track record of shipping products customers adopted, and ability to articulate learnings from products that did not succeed
- Practical AI fluency, including hands-on experience with modern AI/LLM tools, prompt engineering, or workflow automations
- Experience solving operational, data, or product problems using AI
- Ability to distinguish where AI adds real value versus hype
- Proven ability to analyze complex backend infrastructure, including data pipelines, CMS, metadata, or workflow logic
- Product decisions grounded in product data, unit economics, and first-principles reasoning
- Credibility with engineers and designers through clarity and sound decisions
- Comfort with ambiguity and unfamiliar domains
- Based in Boston
- Work from the Seaport office Tuesday through Thursday
- Ability to travel to Boulder, Colorado monthly
- Desired: experience as the first or only product manager
- Desired: experience in a multi-brand or portfolio company, or post-acquisition integration
- Desired: technical fluency in APIs, product analytics, SQL, or AI-assisted development
- Desired: interest in music, education technology, or tools for instructors and creators
