About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the customer contract and ensure delivery follows the agreed scope and commercial terms
- Take full responsibility for project financials, including budget, forecasting, time tracking, invoicing and profitability
- Manage change through formal change control and lead commercial conversations regarding deviations and additional orders
- Build and own project plans, managing progress, dependencies and milestones across SAP Activate phases
- Plan and secure resources with line managers
- Lead cross-functional teams of functional, technical and integration consultants
- Lead workstreams including fit-to-standard, data migration, integrations, testing, cutover, go-live and hypercare
- Identify, assess and continuously manage risks, escalating them internally and to the customer when needed
- Report project status to the customer steering committee and Pearl management
- Contribute to bids with estimates, delivery plans and risk assessments
- Coach less experienced project managers and strengthen project management as a discipline at Pearl
- Advise customers and colleagues during early phases, estimation and bid work
- Contribute to the development of Pearl’s Gold Standard delivery methodology based on SAP Activate
Requirements
What you’ll need- Solid experience as a project manager with full commercial responsibility for SAP ERP customer projects, normally 6 years or more
- Candidates with fewer years considered if they demonstrate substantial scope and complexity, ownership of contracts and project financials, and reporting to steering committees
- At least 2 to 3 full-cycle SAP implementations or migrations, including go-live and hypercare
- Good understanding of end-to-end business processes such as order to cash, procure to pay, plan to produce or record to report
- Hands-on experience from a business or process role is a strong advantage
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA, private or public cloud, and good understanding of SAP Activate
- Direct customer contact at management level and ability to handle demanding conversations
- Experience with structured methods such as PMI, PRINCE2 or agile frameworks
- Fluent in a Scandinavian language and English
- Project management certification such as PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner is nice to have
- SAP Activate certification is nice to have
- Experience with RISE with SAP, GROW with SAP or system conversion (brownfield) projects is nice to have
- Experience with other SAP solutions is nice to have
- Experience from presales and bid work is nice to have
