About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own monthly email and SMS planning with clients
- Build and maintain marketing calendars for launches, promotions, seasonal campaigns, and lifecycle priorities
- Lead client meetings to review results and coordinate upcoming work
- Develop campaign concepts and recommend offers, product bundles, and A/B tests
- Write email and SMS copy, including subject lines, preview text, product messaging, calls to action, and test variations
- Build, QA, segment, schedule, and send email and SMS campaigns
- Build and maintain customer segments based on purchase history, engagement, product ownership, and lifecycle stage
- Audit, build, and optimize automated lifecycle flows
- Coordinate localized campaigns and flows across markets
- Brief designers and manage feedback and approvals
- Run a testing roadmap across messaging, offers, segmentation, cadence, and flows
- Maintain list health, consent, suppression rules, and sending practices
- Document workflows and build repeatable planning, briefing, QA, and reporting processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4+ years of hands-on experience in email, SMS, or lifecycle marketing
- Experience supporting e-commerce brands
- Experience owning both strategy and execution
- Hands-on experience with Klaviyo or a comparable email and SMS platform
- Experience working with Shopify, customer data, segments, and event-based triggers
- Strong copywriting skills
- Understanding of campaigns and automated flows for conversion, repeat purchases, and retention
- Ability to interpret performance data and design useful A/B tests
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Proactive communication and approval management
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Bonus: Experience in an agency environment or managing localized email and SMS programs across multiple markets
