About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Maintain superior relationships with current clients to ensure uncompromising customer satisfaction
  • Expand current customers’ use of PEG’s services while strengthening relationships with key players and teams
  • Support a sales and marketing structure, including functions, relationships, communications, roles, and responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance current service offerings and expand into new markets and opportunities
  • Manage, create, and execute social media
  • Develop and implement training and onboarding strategies and procedures for new clients
  • Prospect for potential new clients and establish a pipeline of new opportunities
  • Grow, maintain, and leverage existing networks to identify potential clients and decision makers
  • Work with operations and engineering staff to meet customer needs and support new customers
  • Arrange and participate in internal and external client meetings, training, and onboarding meetings
  • Attend builder association events, conferences, and other industry functions
  • Provide market and creative trend feedback and deliver presentations regarding PEG’s services
  • Consult with the Senior Vice President on business trends and potential new lines of business, services, products, and distribution channels
  • Identify and develop unique selling propositions and differentiators based on market and competitor knowledge
  • Create proposals, contracts, and agreements and ensure legal compliance
  • Prepare quarterly or as-needed reports and forecasts on business development initiatives, performance, and recommended changes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3 - 5 years of professional business development, sales, and marketing experience are required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not required
  • Strong software skills with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and other related software programs
  • Experience using Google Analytics and Google Ads
  • Strong experience using WordPress and basic HTML
  • High Proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), Canva, or similar programs
  • Proficient in using social media programs including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
  • Creative portfolio demonstrating strong graphic design experience is preferred
  • Dependable, self-directed, and able to complete tasks with limited supervision
  • Expert ability to effectively communicate with other disciplines or groups and resolve schedule conflicts
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and team collaboration skills
  • Outstanding verbal/written communication skills and effective interpersonal skills
  • Proactive problem solver with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • Some travel required to attend out-of-state events
  • Must meet employment eligibility requirements verified through E-Verify
