About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the professional execution of construction measures and project delivery
Plan and design building automation systems and room automation systems
Coordinate with project managers, specialist planners, clients, and contractors
Contribute to projects from condition surveys through design and construction drawings to as-built documentation across all HOAI service phases
Develop creative, project-specific solutions
Prepare automation schematics and function lists in accordance with VDI 6040
Contribute innovative ideas for implementing high-quality, energy-efficient, and cost-effective room automation

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed degree in building services engineering, instrumentation and control engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable field; alternatively, a technician qualification in one of these areas
Initial experience in building automation
Understanding of heating, ventilation, plumbing, or air-conditioning systems
Interest in network protocols and bus systems used in building automation
Knowledge of tendering and the awarding of engineering and construction services
Familiarity with HOAI, VOB, VOL, and relevant standards
Experience with TRIC, iTWO, Orca AVA, AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM is an advantage
Fluent German with strong negotiation skills
Excellent communication skills at all levels
