About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Execute the Order Verification process accurately and on time
  • Gather and record accurate job-site measurements and product requirements
  • Communicate with customers as a professional Pella representative
  • Set realistic homeowner expectations regarding the Pella Installation Process
  • Inspect job sites for water intrusion, rot, mold, and other issues
  • Confirm job-site suitability and resolve discovered issues with homeowners
  • Provide documentation and photos to assist installation teams
  • Control project and recovery costs
  • Coordinate with sales teams and installers for seamless order fulfillment
  • Deliver missing installation items to job sites as needed
  • Verify completed installations against manufacturing guidelines and report concerns to the manager
  • Provide training to Retail Sales Consultants as needed
  • Ensure job-site safety rules are followed
  • Perform minor service or installation tasks to improve customer satisfaction
  • Maintain the assigned company vehicle
  • Support installation recovery work as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High-school diploma or GED required
  • 1-3 years related experience and/or training
  • Prior knowledge of general construction applications and terminology and/or window and door applications or components required
  • Prior experience with power tools required, including table saw, circular or miter saw, pneumatic nail gun, and power drill
  • Ability to read and analyze contracts and work documents
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence
  • Ability to verbally present information and respond to questions from customers, managers, and the general public
  • Ability to solve practical and arithmetic problems
  • Ability to perform calculations involving money, time, measurement, volume, distance, proportions, percentages, area, length, width, height, and depth
  • Ability to read a standard ruler/tape measure and calculate with fractions
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 lbs occasionally
  • Comfortable working at heights, including ladder or scaffolding work
  • Must be able to drive to job sites, customer/contractor locations, and company functions
  • Valid driver's license and compliance with company Fleet Safety Policy
  • Strong construction knowledge
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and smart devices, and ability to learn internal software programs and applications
  • AA or Technical degree preferred
  • Remodeling and/or window and door replacement experience is a plus
