Key responsibilities & impact

Monitor all bets and prices across all sports 24/7
Monitor bet flow and take action according to departmental guidelines
Monitor betting lines and react immediately to industry movements
Identify relevant bets to assess expected value
Recognize betting patterns that deviate from expected behaviour
Monitor market liabilities in real time
Grade markets quickly to maintain rapid and efficient cashflow
Work with trading teams to deliver a profitable, competitive product for every sporting event
Communicate with customer-facing teams to support patron satisfaction and escalate issues for fast resolution
Use internal tools to assess individual bet and patron value and increase trading hold percentage
Ensure trading products and processes remain fully compliant
Adapt to changes in providers, processes, and market trends
Provide daily reports to key stakeholders
Create and execute reports using SQL, Python, Looker, Mode, and Tableau
Monitor and report on customer lifetime profitability
Test in-house trading tools and daily-use features
Recommend new features and guide them from concept to delivery with the product team
Monitor and report on multi-accounting and syndicate activity through retrospective pattern analysis
Use customer risk data and internal tooling to prioritize and triage accounts for review
Contribute to scalable customer risk frameworks
Report on the commercial impact of customer risk decisions
Perform other required duties

Requirements

What you’ll need

Sports-obsessed with strong, well-rounded sports betting knowledge and a genuine interest in betting and odds
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Minimum 1+ years of experience in a trading environment (preferred, not required)
Bachelor’s degree (BSc/BA) or equivalent in a relevant field such as Mathematics, Engineering, or Sciences
Data-obsessed with excellent mathematical skills
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capability
Able to multitask and perform effectively under pressure
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and capable of making quick, informed decisions
High attention to detail and commitment to precision
Excellent time-management skills
Ability to learn quickly, operate independently, and collaborate within a team
Quick to adopt and adapt to new technology
Strong initiative and exceptional work ethic
Able to work remotely
Able to work regular evenings and weekends, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
