About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop Angular v13–18+ applications
- Design and review software across the full SDLC
- Define and analyze requirements
- Investigate software and system defects and perform root-cause analysis
- Participate in complete system rewrites for logistics-related projects
- Perform software design, analysis, new development, coding, and unit testing
- Interact with the project manager, QA, user group, and other organizational team members
- Work as a front-end software engineer on projects for Laufer Group International
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5–6 years of experience
- Bachelor or master’s in computer science, or equivalent experience or qualification
- 5+ years of engineering experience with Angular, particularly v13–18+
- Expert knowledge of Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, and RxJS
- Expert knowledge of REST APIs and security practices
- Expert ability to create responsive, cross-browser-compatible HTML5/SCSS templates
- Working knowledge of SCM tools including Git and JIRA
- Prior hands-on experience with NG Bootstrap and Ag-Grid
- Experience with an IDE such as Eclipse or IBM Liberty
- Knowledge of Spring Framework, Core Java, JSP, and JSTL
- Familiarity with SQL, SOA, DB2, and JDBC
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Ability to work within a collaborative environment
- Creative, resourceful, and innovative problem-solving ability
- Strong communication, active listening, and system-requirement comprehension skills
- Demonstrated aptitude for acquiring knowledge and skills
