About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Facilitate interactive live online group classes covering data analytics concepts through practical examples and industry experience.
Host regular online drop-in sessions focused on learner questions, practical applications, assignments, and additional support needs.
Mark learner assignments and provide clear, constructive, actionable feedback.
Facilitate discussions in the online learner community by answering content questions, sharing resources, and providing real-world examples.
Provide ad hoc one-to-one mentoring for course content and assignment challenges.
Participate in selected industry panel discussions with facilitators and subject matter experts.
Set expectations regarding workload, project timelines, resources, and learning requirements.
Monitor learner engagement and progress and identify areas for additional support.
Collaborate with delivery and learner support colleagues on progress, challenges, and required attention.
Support approximately 20 to 50 assignment submissions per course and provide one-to-one learner support as required.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Demonstrated professional experience working as a Data Analyst or in a closely related data analytics role.
Strong practical understanding of data analytics concepts and the ability to explain technical ideas clearly to learners with varying levels of experience.
Previous experience facilitating, teaching, coaching, training, or mentoring others.
Demonstrated ability to provide constructive feedback that helps others improve their skills and understanding.
Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence, with the ability to support and engage a diverse learner community.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills, including the ability to balance live facilitation, learner support, and assignment marking.
Strong written and verbal communication skills suitable for both online group facilitation and individual learner support.
A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively with colleagues involved in delivery and learner support.
A flexible, practical, and problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt to changing learner needs and course dynamics.
Confidence sharing real-world data analytics experience and practical industry examples in a learning environment.
