About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Organize, coordinate, and optimize the activities of the child and adolescent psychiatry, rehabilitation, and staffing pool units
- Ensure a smooth patient journey in coordination with pediatric services and external partners
- Supervise patient flows and anticipate resource needs
- Manage multidisciplinary teams of nurses, educators, rehabilitation professionals, healthcare assistants, and administrative secretaries
- Develop and adjust schedules based on activity levels, absenteeism, training, and additional staffing needs
- Conduct annual performance reviews, assess competencies, and support career development
- Promote quality of working life and team cohesion
- Prevent and manage tense or conflict situations
- Identify equipment and supply needs and contribute to investment plans
- Monitor inventory, orders, and maintenance
- Collaborate with biomedical, technical, and logistics departments
- Implement the quality and patient safety policy
- Participate in audits, professional practice evaluations (EPP), experience feedback reviews (CREX), and morbidity and mortality reviews (RMM)
- Monitor and analyze performance indicators
- Promote a quality culture and maintain regulatory watch
- Ensure upward, downward, and cross-functional communication
- Lead departmental meetings and prepare minutes
- Develop external partnerships
- Represent the units internally and externally
- Participate in the onboarding of new professionals
- Organize the induction and supervision of trainees
- Identify training needs and support skills development
- Develop cooperation between child and adolescent psychiatry and pediatrics
- Optimize organizational processes to reduce care delivery times
- Contribute to certification and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Healthcare management qualification or university degree (Level 6 or 7) in healthcare, management, or education sciences
- Proven experience managing teams in the healthcare or social care sector
- Experience in child and adolescent psychiatry or a multidisciplinary environment would be an advantage
- Strong knowledge of hospital organizations and care pathways
- Ability to oversee complex activities across multiple sites or units
- Knowledge of quality management, certification, and risk management processes
- Ability to lead projects and support change management
- Strong line-management and cross-functional management skills
- Human resources management and workforce planning skills
- Performance indicator management and data analysis
- Project management and continuous improvement skills
- Proficiency with office and management software
- Leadership and strong sense of responsibility
