About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the procurement process for all acquisitions obtained by the contractor or Government
  • Manage and track accurate asset inventories
  • Support hardware and software reviews
  • Ensure accurate inventory records
  • Facilitate maintenance renewals, software entitlements, and warranty support
  • Identify market trends and resolve procurement challenges to ensure timely acquisition of goods and services
  • Support the entire acquisition lifecycle from pre-award planning through solicitation preparation, contract award, contract administration, and close-out
  • Prepare source selection documents, evaluation criteria, justifications and approvals, synopses, and requests for proposals/quotes/bids
  • Develop detailed cost estimates supporting Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs)
  • Assist government procurement agencies with acquisition strategies, work statements, evaluation plans, and vendor qualification
  • Coordinate procurement activities, including financial forecasting, sole-source justifications, vendor coordination, and market research
  • Collaborate with architecture and engineering teams to identify assets and create technical refresh roadmaps
  • Create compliant procurement packages under procurement and Supply Chain Risk Management processes
  • Identify alternate product development opportunities using vendor, OEM, product development, and industry analyst resources
  • Provide specifications, statements of work, and justification documentation
  • Route and track procurement packages for Government approval
  • Review invoices and obtain signed receiving reports
  • Maintain contract files through close-out
  • Prepare file information for audits
  • Track orders, system lead times, delivery dates, and costs
  • Draft and route Receiving Reports for requester and COR validation and signature

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School diploma/equivalent and 6 years of experience
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Active SECRET Government Security Clearance
  • Demonstrated experience managing/leading acquisition and asset management staff in a complex, distributed enterprise IT environment
  • Experience with enterprise IT planning, inventory and asset management, and procurements supporting Federal Government clients in a complex, distributed enterprise IT environment
  • Demonstrated support for lifecycle asset management, including audit response and asset tracking, supporting Federal Government clients in a complex, distributed enterprise IT environment
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing organizational IT procurements and identifying cost-reduction opportunities through innovative procurement vehicles
  • Experience reducing service/support levels to procure necessary support for organizational needs
  • Experience analyzing inventory to reduce maintenance and support agreements
  • ITIL Foundation Level Certification (or higher) preferred
  • ServiceNow expertise, particularly with the CMDB module, preferred; experience building and maintaining a CMDB in ServiceNow is a plus
