About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and maintain bills of materials (BOMs) for communications and networking equipment, software, licenses, virtual machines, storage, server, and endpoint products
  • Validate proposed catalog items against the technical scope of assigned CLIN/SLINs by reviewing vendor datasheets, product briefs, and licensing terms
  • Document SKU-to-SLIN mappings and rationale for auditability
  • Prepare and load structured import files into the proprietary catalog/contract management system
  • Maintain SLIN/SKU identifiers, descriptions, specifications, quantities, pricing, parent/child option linkages, and configuration metadata
  • Research and document End-of-Life, End-of-Sale, and End-of-Maintenance schedules
  • Coordinate replacement verification and track decommissioning of superseded SLINs, BOMs, items, and linkages
  • Gather, comprehend, and document product pricing, including discount, margin, amortization, monthly, and outright considerations
  • Coordinate with Asset Management and Logistics to flag serialization, delivery tracking, and renewal tracking requirements
  • Audit the catalog for contractual conformance and prevent duplicate entries
  • Maintain version history and retire obsolete items
  • Perform administrative, data entry, and reporting tasks
  • Support the PMO team with product documentation and reporting

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • US Citizenship
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret eligible clearance
  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience; or Associate's degree with 4 years; or 6+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
  • Working technical literacy with enterprise IT and networking products
  • Ability to read vendor datasheets and licensing documentation
  • Ability to distinguish hardware vs. software, perpetual vs. subscription, recurring vs. one-time, maintenance tiers, RMA processes, and license tiers
  • Advanced Excel: pivot tables, data validation, and large-file reconciliation
  • Comfort with discount percentages, margin, amortization, and monthly vs. outright purchase pricing
  • Clear written documentation habits and an audit-minded approach to version control, traceability, and change management
  • Ability to coordinate across Finance, Asset Management, Logistics, PMO, and technical staff
  • Preference for candidates located in the Oklahoma / Oklahoma City metro area
  • Standard business hours with cross-functional coordination
  • Quiet and distraction free office environment required
  • ITIL Foundation, CompTIA Security+, or CompTIA Network+ certification, or willingness to obtain within a reasonable timeframe
  • Prior experience maintaining a product catalog, SKU master, or BOM library against a contractual structure is desired
  • Familiarity with networking and network security product lines and virtualization and licensing models is desired
  • Experience with proprietary or commercial catalog/contract management systems and bulk-import workflows is desired
  • Exposure to DoD contract vehicles and their documentation discipline is desired
