Key responsibilities & impact

Support a federal client onsite in Raleigh, NC
Identify business trends and solve complex problems through advanced big data analysis
Interpret results from multiple data sources using statistical analysis, data aggregation, data mining, and related techniques
Design and implement high-value business solutions supporting mission outcomes
Develop rapid analysis scripts, visualization prototypes, and interactive dashboards
Prepare and present analysis reports, visioning session materials, and project documentation
Apply appropriate analysis techniques based on available data and project requirements
Deliver products that meet Business Unit needs and require minimal training
Ensure documentation is accurate, clear, and error-free
Design and develop mathematical optimization models and source code/scripts
Produce translational documentation for analytical and visualization product development
Prepare proposal presentations and project result documentation
Ensure model parameters and functions are appropriate for the need and available data
Meet project timelines while maintaining high-quality deliverables
Prepare and manage big data pipelines
Implement data models and develop databases aligned with organizational objectives
Collaborate across business units to ensure solutions are scalable, accurate, and actionable

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field along with 8+ years experience
Four (4) additional years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
If degree is not in an applicable field, four (4) additional years of related experience is required
Active Public Trust clearance
Proficiency in SQL and Python and/or R
Strong analytical background with academic or professional grounding in data science, statistics, or a related quantitative discipline
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex findings for non-technical stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to work across multiple industries and adapt quickly to complex, dynamic environments
US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder)
Must not have traveled outside the US for a combined total of 6 months or more in the last 5 years
Must have resided in the US for the last 5 years
