About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist the Resource Management Branch with development of the Portfolio Resource Management Division resource and planning management program
  • Perform spend plan analysis, execution reconciliation, audit and financial reporting
  • Analyze Ektropy data and additional data sources for individual Military Treatment Facilities
  • Schedule and conduct regular “Deep Dive” resource reviews with MTF Chief Information Officers and Resource Managers
  • Support MTF BAG 4 IM/IT unfunded requirement submissions
  • Attend and support Ektropy, Global Service Provider, CIO Front Office, Financial Management Work Group, Ektropy office hours, and ad hoc resourcing meetings
  • Analyze MTF balance to controls, BAG spending, and ad hoc reports
  • Create IT Touch labor cost projections
  • Provide ad hoc Ektropy data and one-on-one consultation to MTF CIOs and team members
  • Follow financial practices, protocols, standards, and guidelines for stewardship of Government funding
  • Track and update records for the life cycle of funds
  • Ensure data quality through audits and updates using designated resource and planning tools
  • Assist Resource Managers and CIOs with yearly and quarterly budgetary execution plans, including POM planning
  • Perform other tasks as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2 years with BS/BA; 0 years with MS/MA; 6 years with HS Diploma/equivalent
  • Demonstrated financial management and resource management expertise
  • Experience producing accurate, timely financial reports, executive briefings, and ad hoc analyses
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and data validation
  • Have or obtain favorable Tier 1 (Public Trust) investigation
  • Must possess proof of U.S. citizenship
  • Defense Health Agency (DHA) and Ektropy application experience highly desired
