About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist with development of the Infrastructure and Operations Division resource and planning management program
- Analyze spend plans and reconcile execution
- Support audit and financial reporting and audit readiness
- Recommend process changes for accurate and timely reporting, data analysis, and spend plan reconciliation
- Assist weekly GNOB meetings to discuss the Spend Plan and Ektropy changes
- Support IOD Leadership and Branch Chiefs with PRMD taskers
- Analyze fiscal-year requirements, cost differences, cost savings, and unavoidable spend-plan increases
- Attend monthly Ektropy team meetings
- Communicate with the IOD Finance Manager and PRMD regarding spend plans, Ektropy changes, and ad hoc reports
- Create real-time changes, reports, extracts, the IOD Budget Spreadsheet, and Status of Funds reports
- Participate in biweekly and weekly meetings with division leadership, branch chiefs, Finance, and PRMD
- Maintain the Ektropy Change Log and verify fiscal-year requirements
- Provide ad hoc consultation to Branch Chiefs and MTF team members
- Track and update the lifecycle of funds in accordance with financial practices and government guidelines
- Ensure data quality through audits and updates in Ektropy
- Assist with yearly and quarterly budget execution plans, including POM planning
- Perform other assigned tasks
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5 years of experience with a BS/BA, or 9 years of experience with a high school diploma
- Demonstrated financial management and resource management expertise
- Experience producing accurate, timely financial reports, executive briefings, and ad hoc analyses
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and data validation
- Have or obtain a favorable Tier 1 (Public Trust) investigation
- Proof of U.S. citizenship required
- Defense Health Agency (DHA) and Ektropy application experience highly desired
