About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the Intelligence Community customer within the National Security Space Business Unit
  • Use Excel functions to analyze budgets and forecasts for contractual requirements
  • Learn Deltek/Costpoint and upload actuals, ETC, and performance data to assist with monthly CDRLs
  • Incorporate contractual changes into the cost baseline and reconcile actuals
  • Prepare and maintain spend plans and develop and review Estimates at Complete (EACs)
  • Assist Control Account Managers with EVMS activities, including WBS creation, forecast updates in Prism, performance measurement, and VAR analysis
  • Analyze budgets and schedules for assigned program portions
  • Monitor and report performance against plans to meet contractual cost and schedule objectives
  • Prepare financial reports, statements, estimates, and other program deliverables
  • Coordinate, negotiate, and resolve financial compliance issues with program teams
  • Interface with management and respond to requests for financial data

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field and 2 years of experience
  • 4 years of equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • Must be located in the DC Metro area and able to work in Herndon, VA
  • Microsoft Office skills, specifically Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication skills
  • US Citizen
  • Ability to obtain a TS/SCI Clearance with poly
