About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate logistics support and readiness for RSR sites within an assigned region
- Identify site logistics requirements and maintain checklists of services, equipment, delivery dates, and responsible parties
- Arrange dumpsters, portable toilets, forklifts, cranes, material-handling equipment, temporary storage, and other site needs
- Obtain quotes, prepare purchase or rental requests, secure approvals, and track commitments against approved site budgets
- Track radar equipment, installation materials, replacement components, and spare parts from shipment through site receipt
- Confirm site access, delivery windows, unloading arrangements, storage space, and receiving resources
- Verify delivery documentation and resolve shortages, damage, or incorrect shipments
- Coordinate packaging, loading, transportation, temporary storage, and approved disposition of removed equipment and materials
- Manage rental and temporary site-service delivery, servicing, extensions, pickup, and closeout schedules
- Maintain records of rental equipment, shipments, receipts, service orders, costs, and outstanding requirements
- Track ownership and responsibility for government, vendor, and Peraton equipment
- Resolve or escalate missed deliveries, equipment shortages, transportation constraints, and service-provider problems
- Report site readiness, equipment movement, upcoming deliveries, costs, and unresolved issues
- Coordinate logistics activities with the Integrated Master Schedule and daily site reporting
- Support safe site operations by coordinating equipment capacity, qualified operators, access arrangements, and safety requirements
- Collaborate with FAA personnel, Peraton managers and site representatives, radar vendors, subcontractors, transportation providers, and local service providers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain required Public Trust clearance
- A minimum of 8 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree; 6 years with a Master's; a total of 12 years without a degree
- Experience coordinating logistics, transportation, procurement support, or field operations for geographically dispersed projects
- Experience arranging equipment rentals, temporary site services, freight deliveries, and material handling
- Ability to coordinate multiple sites and competing priorities while maintaining accurate schedules and records
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and tools used to track shipments, costs, inventory, and schedules
- Ability to work effectively with government personnel, vendors, subcontractors, and local service providers
- Ability to travel within the assigned region and meet applicable FAA facility access requirements
- Preferred: Experience supporting radar, aviation, telecommunications, construction, or other technical infrastructure deployments
- Preferred: Familiarity with FAA field operations, remote-site logistics, and government property accountability
- Preferred: Experience supporting equipment removal, disposition, and installation activities
- Preferred: Familiarity with integrated schedules, site-readiness reviews, and logistics risk management
