About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Establish, implement, and refine Agile practices across the team and program
  • Lead Agile ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming
  • Coach teams transitioning from Waterfall to Agile and ensure smooth adoption of new workflows
  • Partner with product owners and stakeholders to maintain well-prioritized backlogs
  • Identify and remove impediments to ensure consistent team progress
  • Track and report progress using industry-standard Agile metrics
  • Collaborate with engineering teams using diverse software languages and toolchains
  • Promote continuous improvement and team collaboration

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field and 10 years of experience; Master's degree and 7 years of experience
  • Able to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance and maintain the clearance thereafter
  • Must be a US Citizen and show proof of citizenship
  • Demonstrated experience setting up Agile frameworks and leading transitions from Waterfall
  • Professional experience as a Scrum Master or Agile facilitator
  • Experience with version control systems: Git, GitHub, Subversion
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe, etc.) desired
  • Experience supporting government or defense programs desired
  • Experience working with multi-disciplinary engineering teams desired
  • Proficiency or familiarity with multiple software languages including FORTRAN, ADA, C/C++, and Python desired
