About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work with capture leaders, sector CTOs, Peraton Labs, delivery accounts, and mission SMEs to translate cyber operational understanding into differentiated, agentic-AI-enabled solutions
  • Evolve Peraton's agentic cyber AI offerings by analyzing capability gaps, technology readiness and trends, competitive positioning, and federal AI/cyber policy
  • Build relationships with OEMs, technology partners, and Peraton Labs to bring differentiated capabilities into winning solutions
  • Translate Peraton Labs R&D into deployable offerings
  • Design innovative, cost-competitive, mission-relevant solutions across AI-enabled and automated cyber operations and defense, SOC modernization, threat hunting, and related areas
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Solutions Architects from mid-level through principal
  • Assign architects based on complexity, domain fit, and development needs
  • Establish AI-driven repeatable solutioning practices, templates, artifact standards, and reuse libraries

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 18 years of experience across supervising and managing solutions architects, systems engineers, or equivalent senior technical staff, including hiring, performance, and career development
  • Experience leading technical solutions on large, complex federal cyber pursuits, including LSA or equivalent solution-lead responsibility on competitive proposals
  • Deep, hands-on expertise across cyber mission operations and architecture, including SOC modernization, threat hunting, IR, DCO/CNO, zero trust, cloud security, vulnerability management, threat intelligence, and/or OT/ICS defense
  • Experience integrating AI/ML and generative AI into cyber mission workflows
  • Working knowledge of agentic AI patterns, including multi-agent orchestration, tool use, planning, RAG, memory, and evaluation
  • Ability to translate complex cyber, AI, and mission concepts into compelling solution narratives for capture teams, executives, and government evaluators
  • Strong record of communicating at senior and executive levels
  • Working knowledge of federal acquisition, competitive capture, and compliance frameworks, including FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST 800-53/171, RMF, and CMMC
  • Ability to obtain/maintain Top Secret/SCI security clearance
  • US Citizenship required
  • Active CISSP, Sec+, AWS Cloud, or closely related industry certification(s) preferred
  • Active Polygraph clearance preferred
