About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build on modernization efforts for the U.S. Navy by enabling microservices to be rapidly built, tested, fielded, and integrated with container orchestration platforms
Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines
Automate infrastructure to make environments predictable and supportable
Support containerized platforms in secure, regulated environments
Work directly with software and cyber engineers to solve delivery problems
Adapt to different program needs, priorities, and technical stacks
Deliver software solutions for fleet mission planning and execution

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 8 years experience with BS/BA; 6 years with MS/MA; 3 years with PhD
Secret clearance or ability to obtain one
U.S. citizenship
Strong Kubernetes work experience
Must live in the San Diego metro area
CompTIA Security+ Certification or ability to obtain it within 45 days of hire
Experience with containerization, including Docker, Podman, or Buildah
Experience with container orchestration, including Kubernetes, OpenShift, or Helm
Experience with CI/CD automation tools, including GitLab, Jenkins, or AWS Code Build
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, including Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
Experience with Linux systems, including RHEL, CentOS, or Ubuntu
Experience with automation and scripting, including Bash, Python, or PowerShell
