About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead growth across the U.S. Federal Healthcare Sector, focusing on HHS, NIH, CDC, and/or FDA
- Manage and leverage resources to create, identify, develop, and qualify opportunities
- Achieve growth goals through winning new business, securing contract recompetes, and driving organic program growth
- Develop and maintain an active opportunity pipeline aligned with corporate strategy and goals
- Serve as the primary interface with the customer community and build internal and external customer relationships
- Develop and execute strategies to shape requirements and acquisition strategies
- Identify and target new business markets, adjacencies, and partnerships
- Apply the Peraton Business Acquisition Process and communicate opportunities and plans to management and technical teams
- Guide potential customers by demonstrating technology solutions, architectures, capabilities, and acquisition paths
- Work with technical and program management teams on RFIs, market surveys, white papers, presentations, briefings, and major event demonstrations
Requirements
What you’ll need- 18+ years of experience
- HHS account management experience and YOY growth
- Proven experience building relationships with strategic teaming partners (prime and sub)
- Ability to develop and mature key relationships within customer organizations
- Ability to operate independently while retaining an enterprise focus
- Demonstrated understanding of customer needs to align Peraton’s capabilities and core values
- Proven ability to structure key partnerships and alliances and establish and grow new relationships
- High energy, integrity, strong business acumen, professionalism, and commitment
- Highly effective communication with all company levels and customers, including senior executives
- Demonstrated experience with the rules, regulations, and idiosyncrasies driving the capture process
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required agency clearance
- Local to the DC, MD, VA area
- Successful record supporting and winning contracts with NIH and/or FDA customers (desired)
- Scrum Master Certified (desired)
